While it's true that many friends of libraries groups hold book sales and annual fund drives, the Friends of Maxwell Memorial Library does not. Our organization derives its funds from membership dues donations, occasional fundraisers, and donations.
We're pleased to report the following dollar donations to Maxwell for the years 2013 - 2018. These amounts to not include our administrative costs, such as liability insurance, supplies, etc.

Average yearly - $2,961.00
During these years, our largest donations have funded:
- Children's Summer Reading Program Wednesday evening events
- Adult Summer Reading Program - prizes and dessert party
- Furniture for the alcove near the entrance
- Shades for all of Maxwell's windows
- Automatic Front Door
- Large Print Books- BookPage Magazine- Bike Rack
