Hand out Chocolate ‘Roses’ the week of February 14
Free Drawing of 4 books for National Poetry Month, and National Library Week
Free balloons, pinwheels, flags, water at Memorial Day Parade - Monday, May 30
Free books to children who visit our Garage Sale on June 4
♦♦ Annual Open House and Art Exhibit in October were cancelled due to library’s renovation.

Friends’ Donations to Maxwell, Projects, Advocacy
Book Page Magazine - $300.00
Summer Reading Program Events for families - $1000.00
Donated $100.00 for classic DVD movies, a Memorial Gift
Advocated for front windows trim to be painted, anticipating donating % of cost to library.
Sponsored, funded and organized first Summer Reading Program for Adults - $200.00, over 200 entries.
Planters with geraniums (summer), and chrysanthemums (fall) in front of library
Donated decorated wreath to Octagon House in November, and decorated tree to Onondaga Free Library’s Festival of Trees in December.
Funded new furniture in library alcove - $1500.00, and Memorial Gift to Friends for chair - $500.00. *Upon delivery of furniture, est. January, 2017.
Decorated library for holidays, including wreath on outside of building.
Free CD Giveaway - December, 2016 to announce our new space!
