October - Celebrating National Friends of Libraries Week (3rd week) 50/50 Raffle $ Free Giveaway to Patrons
December - Friends decorate the library for the holidays. In the past - poinsettias on top of shelves, red balls on ribbon in the windows.
Donate a decorated wreath to Octagon House, and a decorated tree to Onondaga Free Library's Festival of Trees.
All decorations are donated by members of the Friends.

- The Friends also do free book giveaways several times a year. Enter for free. Most likely during National Library Week, Children's Book Week, etc.
- For our Raffles our ticket prices will remain the same as in previous years - 1 ticket for $2.00 or 5 tickets for $5.00.
