Veterans Day

The Friends of Maxwell put flags around the library's sign, and made a small display on the Friends' shelves in honor of Veterans Day.

Sign Painting and Daffodils

Sunday was a good day to touch up the paint on Maxwell's sign, sign post. The yellow marigolds and red geraniums were removed. More daffodil bulbs were planted. Everything is tucked in for the winter months. 

Friends of Maxwell Library - Open House and Raffle Results

There are just eight days left to get your 50-50 Raffle Tickets!

Drawing will be held at the Friends of Maxwell Open House on Saturday, October 19 from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm.

Everyone is invited to our Open House. 

Meet our October artist, Anna Stefanco! 

Refreshments will be served.

Update:  Thirty guests attended this year's Open House. The doughnuts and cider were popular, as were all the cookies. The 50-50 Raffle was a success. There was a lot of support from patrons, and members of the Friends. A total of $634.00 was taken in. 

Jeanne B. was the winner of $317.00!
